The media news paper
In United Kingdom there are two main categories for the newspapers, the broad sheets or the quality papers and the tabloids or the popular papers. The broadsheets are for educated people containing academic language and most of the articles are on politics and news series. It also has small section about the public life and it has a good section of sports. The reason it called broad sheets because it is larger than the tabloids and some popular broadsheets are the times, guardian and observer .The tabloids newspapers have more readers then the broadsheets it might be because the simple English style and it contain more human interest such as sex and stories also it contain more pictures and less writing then the broad sheets and it has large headlines. Some famous tabloids papers are sunday mirror, sun and daily express. Both the broad sheets and tabloids newspaper can be daily or weekly newspapers.
Three newspapers were carefully chosen in order to complete the LRC task and the issue date of these newspapers was 7th of May 2011 .The newspapers selected were Westernmail which is local news paper of Wales and the title on first page was ''it is labour but not by enough''. The second paper was financial times, it is economic news paper , and the title was ''scores historical victory'', and third paper was the daily telegraph and the title was ''let us risk our lives''. The story of the day was always in the first page of all of those newspapers and there is different news on the front page that might be related to the categories of the news in the papers.
